After many years as a public school teacher, Mary Lou began studies at the Centre for Christian Studies and was commissioned in 1995.  Her ministry was first in Stanstead Quebec, and later in congregations in Seaway Valley Presbytery.  She faithfully connected with and supported those who were experiencing both the joys and difficult times of life.  Her friends and all who knew her remember as bringing colour, energy and hospitality to whatever she was doing. Classmates Elaine Beattie and Barbara Curzon presided at her funeral.  She died on January 22, 2010 at the age of 67.  (Memorial prepared by Dorothy Naylor.)
