The Created River of Griefs and Hopes
Table Groups created hearts that carried their grief and tears that carried their hopes. This artwork was then connected and spread across the walls of the hall.
Field Trip in Minneapolis – DOTAC 2023
The group photo is from the site visit to Bimosedaa (Dakota for We Walk Together), which will soon be long-term housing for formerly homeless people in Minneapolis. Built by Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative in partnership with the Red Lake Nation, priority will be given to Native Americans. This housing with supportive services will soon welcome home 48 residents! This picture includes Diaconal ministers Eric Tusz-King (back, to the right of the post) and Deborah Laforet (front, second from the right)
